Every year the Community Foundation of St Clair County seeks out 100 area women to bring $100 to a charity dinner. They then give away a $10,000 grant to a local charity that evening. The event is called "100 Women Who Care". This year, P.S. Your'e My Hero was nominated, we presented, and..... WE WON!!! Our Founder, Mara McCalmon graciously accepted the gift on our behalf. She even received a pretty cool sash. This grant will enable us to help so many people within the community. THANKS LADIES!!!
Over 300 runners laced up their shoes and ran / walked our inaugural race, raising just over nine thousand dollars for our organization. Many thanks to all the local businesses for their sponsorship dollars as well!
